No-nonsense
In 2009, Bureau Control was founded by Lex van den Muijsenberg. From years of experience as a police officer in a variety of specialities and then as a professor of violence control, he built up his knowledge in order to better formulate this training methodology and principles with the Bureau Control team on a national and international scale.
Lex notices that, in many work environments, situations get out of control. People struggle with situations which escalated because of emotional and initial responses. This had to change. Prevent more situations like this by taking the proper verbal and non-verbal approaches and by learning to keep emotions in check. A number of simple and concrete treatment principles were developed, which could be applied by anyone, regardless of their educational level or culture.
With this expertise in the field of difficult behaviour, aggression, and violence on the work floor and a team of carefully selected professors and actors, Bureau Control shares its knowledge in an enthusiastic and didactically sound fashion. The customisation and context-oriented trainings consist of a combination of theory and practice.
Through the use of practical scenarios with experienced training actors, the trainings and educational programmes are perceived by the participants as real. This is how Bureau Control contributes to the improvement of the resilience and treatment of employees. By leaving people equipped to act properly in whatever kind of stressful situation arises.
